Thinking about giving up?
Today I thought of giving up.
I woke up not feeling like going for a walk, even though it’s one of the things that make me feel amazing, inspired, healthy, connected with nature and with myself… It was 9 o´clock, I had already worked a little bit but, it was a little bit too late for going out for a walk… After some time debating, I changed, put on my shoes and jacket and I did. And the feeling was as I predicted, good, I felt accomplished with such a small task.
Then I did the same with exercise, after thinking about doing it, I told myself I didn’t feel so good, so I shouldn´t do it today. After almost turning the shower on, I decided it was better if I did, I did yoga and a pilates type workout, and again, I felt amazing afterward.
While I was taking a shower, I began listening to this Finesses song, and I felt so “heard” and understood.
Slowly, I began thinking that everything I think about doing in life, I think it's a bit “late” in life in general or in the day. The thing is, it never is too late, and I know it sounds cliche, but it's the truth. It is never too late to do what makes us happy and good, about ourselves, our bodies, our minds.
If I begin TODAY to write consistently, I’ll be closer to having a newsletter I feel proud about.
If I begin TODAY to make a podcast, sell my products, eat better, whatever, I’ll be closer to where I want to be, as a person and professionaly.
Just begin to do what you want to do, what makes you feel good, and what brings you closer to where you want to be.
